About Us

Gospel House began in 1995 on a public access channel as hobby for Producer Kimberly Felton, a former college DJ, and Cecil Felton, a video director. The program quickly manifested into a ministry for urban audiences. “Our intent was to use the medium of television to produce a program that teaches essential Christian principles, utilizing a non-traditional format while having a good time,” said Kimberly, the Executive Producer and Host of this weekly fun-filled music ministry.

After seven years of development, Gospel House made its commercial debut January 18, 2002 on the Warner Bros. Network in Upstate, New York. By 2006, Gospel House was airing on PAX TV in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Rochester, via network affiliate WPXJ-51, as well as WATC channel 57 in Atlanta, Georgia. “We feel more of a sense of progress than accomplishment,” Cecil explains. “We know we still have a long ways to go until our journey’s end, but as with any journey you have to gauge where you are – even if it means going back to the map and retracing your route.”

The vision for Gospel House is international syndication. Gospel house is a production of Gospel House Ministries, Inc., a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit.
